You do not need a store

Till: a PayPal.me or Stripe link — public URLs, no site, no credential exposed. Shelf: a public page anywhere a stranger can read without an account. Delivery: a link, sent by hand for the first ten sales; automate at sale eleven, not before.

The automation order — not the one you want

Sell one thing manually. Sell it ten times manually — you learn what people ask before they buy. Then automate the step that's actually annoying. It won't be the one you guessed. Most automated stores are built at step zero, automating a process that has never once run.
